Nová právní úprava oprávnění k poskytování zdravotní péče - od 1.4.2012 zdravotních služeb tzv. PŘEREGISTRACE. Dne 1.4.2012 nabývá účinnosti zákon č. 372/2011 Sb., zákon o zdravotních službách a podmínkách jejich poskytování (zákon o zdravotních službách), který poskytovatelům zdravotní péče nově poskytovatelům zdravotních služeb ukládá povinnosti podat žádost o oprávnění k poskytování zdravotních služeb na krajský úřad příslušného kraje ve lhůtách stanovených v § 21 zákona o zdravotních službách.
Žádosti budou podávat osoby oprávněné jednat za provozovatele nestátních zdravotnických zařízení v souladu se zákonem o zdravotních službách od 1.4.2012 do 31.12.2012. Formulář žádosti pro nestátní zdravotnická zařízení bude zveřejněn na webových stránkách kraje.
V případě, že žádost nebude doručena ve lhůtě do 31.12.2012, registrace nestátního zdravotnického zařízení zanikne ze zákona po uplynutí 36 měsíců ode dne nabytí účinnosti zákona tj. 1.4.2015.

World Physical Therapy Day
The 8th September, World Physical Therapy Day, presents a great opportunity to promote physical therapy and its contribution to health at a community and global level.
Building within our theme of 'Movement for Health', this year WCPT will be producing additional material on the contribution of physical therapy in combating lifestyle diseases, covering:
These will be added to the toolkit produced last year, offering support in organising events and campaigns to celebrate the day. This additional material will be posted to the WCPT website next month ready for you do download, adapt and incorporate into your activities.
The WCPT Awards Committee for 2011 has now been appointed, with a representative from each of WCPT's five regions. The awards programme will be launched later this year, when we will be seeking nominations for physical therapists and leaders within rehabilitation who have made an outstanding contribution to the profession at an international level.

Following a motion adopted at the WCPT General Meeting in 1995, WCPT designated 8th September as International Physical Therapy Day. WCPT was founded on this day in 1951. International Physical Therapy day marks the unity and solidarity of the physical therapy community from 101 countries around the world. To date, activities & materials to celebrate the day have been left to Member Organisations so that they can be developed to reflect key national priorities & messages.
In 2006 we began to profile the International Physical Therapy Day activities of our Member Organisations on the website at www.wcpt.org/about/internationalptday/index.php.
