With nearly 1500 abstracts accepted, the final stages of programming are now taking place. On offer will be a vast range of topics offering the latest research and thinking from global perspectives. Look out for the updated version of the preliminary programme to be published in April, which will include all platform abstract sessions www.wcpt.org/wcpt2017/preliminary-programme.
WCPT has also teamed up with a local printer in Cape Town, www.researchposters.co.za, to offer poster printing services. A 10% discount is being offered to all WCPT Congress 2017 presenters - quote the coupon code WCPT2017 on checkout. Posters can be delivered directly to your hotel, however, please note that posters cannot be delivered to the congress centre.
Languages at congress
WCPT is pleased to announce that some poster walks will now take place in French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Although the main congress language is English, we recognise that this can represent challenges for non-native English speaking delegates. As such we have been looking into ways that discussions in some sessions can be facilitated in other languages. Additional opportunities may be included in networking sessions, seminars and discussions in the Indaba - a new meeting and inspiration zone within the exhibition hall.

Final opportunity to help another physical therapist attend congress - all donations, large or small, are welcome!
WCPT and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP) are looking to fund delegates from low and low-middle resource member organisations to attend the congress. Giving physical therapists this opportunity will benefit not just the individual, but go on to have a lasting legacy in their own country for both the profession and public.
WCPT is pleased to announce the two competition winners who were selected to win a full congress registration. The competition was open to one student physical therapist and one early career researcher abstract presenter.
Many congratulations to the two lucky winners - Caitlyn Socwell from Australia and Jean Baptiste Sagahutu from Rwanda.
