WCPT Congress Update - August 2016

Abstract submission system now live

The online submission system for the call for abstracts for the WCPT Congress is now open.

This is your opportunity to present on the world stage. WCPT is looking for abstracts of research or special interest reports for presentation at the largest international gathering of physical therapists. Abstract presentations are the main way of showcasing research and innovations. There were over 1,640 platform and poster presentations at the WCPT Congress 2015 in Singapore.

Submit your abstract now at: www.wcpt.org/wcpt2017/abstracts

The deadline for submissions is 31st October.

Platform and poster presentations are considered by the International Scientific Committee to be of equal standing and judged by the same criteria.

Abstract mentoring programme

WCPT has a mentoring programme in place until 16th September 2016 for those with limited or no experience of submitting an abstract for a scientific congress. The goal of the programme is to help authors present their material clearly and concisely prior to submitting their abstract to the formal abstract review process.

For further details please see: www.wcpt.org/wcpt2017/abstract-mentoring.

Guidelines are also available to help you prepare your abstract to meet the criteria for WCPT congresses: bit.ly/1Ugniui.
